We now provide accommodation for up to 51 residents in a mixture of 27 single and 12 twin en-suite bedrooms. Our professional teams look after each resident with a warm, personalised and extremely high standard of service.
We offer a choice of leisure rooms, which provide an opportunity for socialising as well as a great many recreational activities. There are also two enclosed gardens that can be easily accessed from the home.

It is Michael’s responsibility to ensure that all the needs of the residents of Oaklands Nursing Home are met. This includes providing individual medical and healthcare, with evidence-based nursing in accordance with their assessed needs. It also means ensuring residents’ rights, safety and comfort needs are met, and that everyone is able to feed back on the service they receive.
Director of Nursing/Person in Charge
Marta is a seasoned professional with 30 years’ nursing experience and 10 years in elderly care. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Medical Academy in Poland and Post Diploma Degree in Health Promotion and Health Education from Academy of Education in Poland. Prior to coming to Ireland, Marta worked in Regional Health Inspection Office (equivalent of HIQA).
Clinical Nurse Manager
With 31 years’ nursing experience, with 11 years spent caring for elderly people, and membership of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Association, we are proud to have Rasa as our Clinical Nurse Manager. Rasa also takes part on professional seminars, conferences, courses and she is able to introduce theoretical knowledge to practice.
